1. What This Policy Covers

This policy explains what personal data we hold, why we hold it, how it is protected and how long we keep it. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains your rights in more detail.

2. Data We Hold

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your pickup address and postcode
• Your booking details: package, transmission type and lesson notes
• Payment status and references (we never store your full card details)
• Basic technical data needed to run and secure the site

3. Why We Hold It

• To arrange your lessons and pass your booking to your instructor
• To introduce you to Pay Later Finance for a credit application
• To take and record payment for your package
• To meet our accounting and legal obligations
• To keep the site secure and prevent misuse

4. How It Is Protected

All data you submit is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Records are held on access-controlled servers and only the people who need them — our team, your instructor and our finance partner — can see them. Card payments are handled directly by Stripe, so card numbers never reach our systems.

5. How Long We Keep It

Booking enquiry data is kept for up to 2 years. Payment and finance records are kept for up to 6 years to meet accounting and regulatory requirements. When data is no longer needed it is securely deleted.

6. Who We Share It With

• Your assigned driving instructor, to deliver your lessons
• Pay Later Finance, to assess and administer your credit agreement
• Stripe, to process card payments securely
• Our hosting and email providers, who process data on our behalf

We never sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see the data we hold, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how it is used, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
